Oil painting on cradled gessoboard

Tulipa Estella Rijnweld was inspired by the painters of the Dutch Golden Age and their fascination with tulips. Confined to the house and garden during lockdown I was grateful to have planted these bulbs the previous autumn as the flowers provided weeks of inspiration.
The work is unframed but the cradled board can be hung directly on a wall.
