The comeback of the Markhor Goat from the brink of extinction is one of the great success stories of animal conservation. The sheer beauty of this animal and its majestic nature is what drew me to sculpt it in Bronze. The material choice is one of permanence, in keeping with the significance of this artwork, in the hope that this beautiful animal thrives for generations to come.

Precarious is inspired by one of the greatest conservation success stories in Asia. The Greater One Horned Rhino was widely hunted for sport and for their horn. In the early 19th century, it was almost hunted to extinction. Due to strict protection and management from wildlife authorities, the Greater One Horned Rhino was brought back from the brink of extinction. This artwork depicts this majestic animal being reduced to the want of just its horn. The upward thrust movement attempts to give the viewer a sense of hope. Through this artwork, I hope to inform the viewer that our actions harm other living species around us.
